Levijon is an injectable formulation containing L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate (LOLA), a blend of two amino acids. It primarily to manage hepatic encephalopathy, Levijon injection is formulated to decrease  blood ammonia levels, a common complication and inflammation of liver disorders. By supporting ammonia detoxification and urea synthesis, it is designed to alleviate neurological symptoms tied to liver disease.

  • Self medication should be avoided

  • Gastrointestinal Disturbances: Nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain are some of the common gastrointestinal side effects. It only happens in response to the drug when injected.
  • Allergic Reactions: Rarely, patients might experience allergic reactions like rash, itching, or swelling. This is not very common happens rarely 
  • General Discomfort: Some patients might feel fatigue or general discomfort after the injection.
  • In such condition it is prescribed to lay down and have some rest.
