Recommended Dosage

1 Tablet Daily.

  • Mix one effervescent tablet in 200 ml of water and drink.
  • Store at temperatures below 25°C. Ensure the tube is securely sealed to safeguard against moisture. The package contains a desiccant for added protection.

Redoxon Double Action, like all medicines, may lead to side effects, although not everyone will experience them. If you encounter signs of an allergic reaction, discontinue using Redoxon Double Action and seek immediate medical attention:

  • Difficulty in breathing or swallowing
  • Swelling of the face, lips, throat, or tongue
  • Skin rashes
  • Large or itchy wheals on the skin
  • Episodes of sneezing, runny nose, and itching eyes
  • Water retention

Note: Supplementary vitamin C might be indicated for cold symptoms, smoking, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or antibiotic treatment. Redoxon isn't a replacement for a diverse, balanced diet. Unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional, adults and adolescents (12 years and above) should take 500 - 1000 mg of Redoxon daily for vitamin C deficiency and gastrointestinal disorders with absorption issues and 1000 mg for cold defense.

Interactions with Vitamin C

Deferoxamine: Vitamin C increases iron toxicity, potentially leading to heart failure.

  • Cyclosporine: Vitamin C can decrease blood levels of cyclosporine.
  • Disulfiram: High Vitamin C usage might impact disulfiram's effectiveness.
  • Indinavir: High vitamin C doses could reduce indinavir's effectiveness.
  • Warfarin: High vitamin C doses may affect warfarin's effectiveness.
  • Aspirin: Simultaneous use with aspirin could alter vitamin C and aspirin excretion.
  • Vitamin B12: High Vitamin C doses might damage vitamin B12, avoid close timing.

       Interactions with Zinc Supplements

  • Copper: Zinc can reduce copper absorption.
  • Iron: High iron levels can lower zinc bioavailability.
