Bone marrow suppression, infection risk, liver toxicity, regular CBC monitoring required
Avoid If:

Interactions:
Allopurinol – increases toxicity risk and requires dose reduction Warfarin – reduced anticoagulant effect ACE inhibitors – increased leukopenia risk Live vaccines – contraindicated due to immunosuppression Co-trimoxazole – increased bone marrow suppression
