Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
Use only when prescribed for a bacterial infection. Tell the doctor about heart rhythm problems, liver or kidney disease, or a history of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea.

Avoid if allergic to clarithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics. It must not be combined with certain medicines that can cause dangerous heart rhythm problems.
