Can Dermovate be used on the face or for skin whitening?

Uses
Primary Use:
Short-term treatment of severe or resistant inflammatory skin conditions that respond to topical corticosteroids.
Also Used For:
Selected cases of psoriasis, resistant eczema, lichen planus, and discoid lupus erythematosus, under medical supervision.
Who May Benefit:
Patients whose diagnosed skin condition has not responded sufficiently to less potent topical treatments and for whom clobetasol has been prescribed.
Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
This is a very potent steroid ointment. Prolonged use can thin the skin and increase absorption into the body. Avoid using it on the face, groin, armpits, or large areas unless specifically directed. Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by a clinician.
Avoid If:
Avoid applying to untreated skin infections, acne, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis unless specifically instructed by a clinician. Do not use if allergic to clobetasol or any ingredient in the ointment.
Interactions:
Using other steroid creams or medicines that suppress the immune system may increase the risk of adverse effects, especially when Dermovate is used extensively or for prolonged periods. Tell your healthcare professional about all topical products being used on the same area.
