Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
May cause significant drowsiness. Avoid driving until you know its effects. Seek immediate medical help for suicidal thoughts, severe mood changes, or symptoms of serotonin syndrome. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
Avoid If:
Allergic to mirtazapine or taking an MAOI antidepressant, or within the prohibited interval after stopping one. Consult your clinician if you have bipolar disorder, epilepsy, or liver or kidney disease.
Interactions:
MAO inhibitors, other antidepressants, tramadol, linezolid, sedatives, sleeping tablets, and alcohol may increase risks such as sedation or serotonin syndrome.
