If a sudden, foul odor develops, it could signal an infection and requires medical review.White Flakes: If the gel dries into white flaky residue on the skin surface, the wound bed may be too dry.Overgranulation: Rarely, stop use and contact a nurse if raised, dark red tissue forms excessively.Contraindications: Do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to alginates, macrogol, or propylene glycol.
