Uses
Primary Use:
Infected/inflamed skin conditions, such as bacterial infection complicating eczema or dermatitis
Also Used For:
Certain cases of infected eczema, atopic dermatitis, allergic/contact dermatitis and other inflammatory skin conditions with secondary bacterial infection.
Who May Benefit:
Patients whose skin condition has both bacterial infection and inflammation; it is not appropriate for every rash or skin infection
Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
For external use only. Avoid the eyes and mouth. Because it contains a corticosteroid, prolonged or inappropriate use can cause skin thinning and other steroid-related problems.
Avoid If:
Allergy to fusidic acid, hydrocortisone or any ingredient; do not use for untreated fungal or viral skin infections unless specifically directed by a clinician.
Interactions:
