Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
May cause slow heart rate, low blood pressure, worsening heart failure, or dizziness. Do not stop treatment abruptly without medical advice.
Avoid If:
Severe hypotension, sick sinus syndrome (without a pacemaker), second- or third-degree heart block, severe heart failure, or allergy to diltiazem.
Interactions:
Beta-blockers, digoxin, statins, cyclosporine, antihypertensives, and grapefruit products may increase the risk of adverse effects.
