Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
May cause liver enzyme elevation and muscle pain (myopathy). Rare risk of rhabdomyolysis. Liver function monitoring is recommended.
Avoid If:
Active liver disease, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or known hypersensitivity to atorvastatin.
Interactions:
Macrolide antibiotics, azole antifungals, cyclosporine, fibrates, niacin, grapefruit juice, and some antivirals may increase risk of side effects.
