Common side effects

• Pain, burning, or skin changes (discoloration, swelling, warmth, redness, sores) at the injection site (extravasation, which can lead to tissue death/gangrene). Heart rhythm changes, such as a slow, fast, or irregular heartbeat, or chest pain. Signs of tissue ischemia (low blood supply), including a cold feeling, numbness, or weakness in the hands, arms, legs, or feet, or blue lips or fingernails. Severe headache, blurred vision, or pounding in the neck or ears, which can be signs of dangerously high blood pressure. Trouble breathing, shortness of breath, or coughing that produces a pink frothy sputum. Little or no urination (decreased renal perfusion). Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, hives, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
