Yes. Prothiaden 25 mg (dosulepin) can be taken with or without food. Taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset if you experience nausea.Can I stop taking the medication when I feel better?
No. Do not stop taking this medication simply because you feel better unless your doctor tells you to do so. Antidepressants often need to be continued for a period after symptoms improve to help prevent the depression from returning.
