Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
Do not stop suddenly, as withdrawal symptoms may occur. Monitor for worsening depression, suicidal thoughts, especially in younger patients, and serotonin syndrome.
Avoid If:
Allergy to paroxetine, concurrent use of MAO inhibitors, or use within 14 days of stopping an MAOI.
Interactions:
MAO inhibitors, tramadol, linezolid, triptans, warfarin, aspirin, NSAIDs, and other serotonergic medications may increase risks of side effects or serotonin syndrome.
