Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
May cause sleepiness and impair alertness. It can also cause or worsen depression and Parkinson-like movement symptoms, particularly in older adults. Contact the prescriber promptly if mood changes, tremors, stiffness, or unusual movements develop.
Avoid If:
Avoid if you have current or recurrent depression, Parkinson’s disease, or another movement disorder, unless a specialist specifically advises otherwise. Do not use if allergic to flunarizine or any capsule ingredient.
Interactions:
Alcohol, sleeping pills, tranquilizers, and other sedating medicines may increase drowsiness. Inform the prescriber about all medicines, especially those affecting the nervous system.
