Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
Spironolactone can cause high potassium levels. Furosemide may cause excessive potassium loss, but the combination does not eliminate the need for monitoring. Report severe weakness, irregular heartbeat, fainting, or markedly reduced urination promptly.
Avoid If:
Severe kidney failure or inability to produce urine. High blood potassium levels. Significant dehydration or severe electrolyte abnormalities. Known allergy to the ingredients.
Interactions:
ACE inhibitors/ARBs, NSAIDs, diuretics or blood-pressure medicines
