Warnings & interactions

Warnings:

May increase blood pressure; use cautiously in heart disease, stroke history, or circulation disorders. Seek medical help for chest pain or severe reactions.

Avoid If:

History of heart attack, ischemic heart disease, stroke, uncontrolled hypertension, severe vascular disease, or use of MAO inhibitors within 14 days.

Interactions:

Avoid with other triptans/ergot medicines within 24 hours; MAO inhibitors; strong CYP1A2 inhibitors (e.g., cimetidine); SSRIs/SNRIs may increase serotonin syndrome risk.
