Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
Risk of lactic acidosis (rare), pancreatitis, kidney impairment, and vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term metformin use. Regular monitoring is recommended.
Avoid If:
Type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe kidney disease, severe liver disease, metabolic acidosis, or allergy to sitagliptin or metformin.
Interactions:
