Allergic Rhinitis, seasonal allergies, perennial allergies, and prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Warnings & interactions

Warnings:

Not for acute asthma attacks. Use cautiously in patients with liver disease or a history of depression, anxiety, or mood changes. Rare neuropsychiatric effects have been reported.

Avoid If:

Known hypersensitivity to montelukast or any component of the formulation.

Interactions:

Phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampicin, gemfibrozil, and other enzyme-inducing drugs may affect montelukast levels.
