Piroxicam is an NSAID and is a non-selective COX inhibitor possessing both analgesic and antipyretic properties. It works by preventing the production of the endogenous prostaglandins. These prostaglandins are responsible for the induction of pain.
Pam injection is interacted with other different drugs like Warfarin, Protein bound drugs, Methotrexate, Aspirin , Plasma lithium concentrations , Diuretics , Anti-hypertensives, Cardiac Glycosides, Quinolone Antibiotics, Mifepristone , Cyclosporine, Aminoglycosides , Oral Hypoglycemic Agents.

How long is Pam infusion?
At first, in adults and teenagers 1000-2000mg injected into the vein usually as an infusion in 100ml, over a 15 to 20 minute period. The dose may be repeated if muscle weakness persists.
