- To take Bioclar Dry Suspension USP, shake the bottle well before each use. Measure the dose with the measuring cup provided. Do not use a household spoon. Take Bioclar Dry Suspension USP with food or milk to reduce stomach upset.
- The usual dosage of Bioclar Dry Suspension USP for adults is 250 milligrams (mg) to 500 mg every 12 hours. The usual dosage for children is 7.5 mg to 15 mg per kilogram of body weight every 12 hours.
Bioclar Uses
Bioclar Dry Suspension USP is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:
- Upper respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis
- Lower respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia and bronchitis
- Ear infections
- Skin infections
- Sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhea and chlamydia
- Other infections, such as Legionnaires' disease and Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) infection
