Lotricot cream is a combination medication containing three active ingredients: betamethasone, clotrimazole, and gentamicin. Each ingredient has a specific purpose, targeting different types of skin conditions.

Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation,itching,and redness.Clotrimazole is antifungal agent used to treat fungal skin infections.Gentamicin is an antibiotic that combats bacterial skin infections.   • Lotricot cream is mostly  prescribed for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. 
  • It can treat a wide range of skin conditions such as:
  • Dermatitis and eczema
  • Fungal skin infections like athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm
  • Bacterial skin infections
  • Inflammation of the skin

  • Bacterial or fungal resistance or superinfection due to prolonged use.
