Malera dry suspension contains the active ingredient Artemether and Lumefantrine. MALERA Suspension medicine works by interfering with certain vital functions in the cell of the malaria parasite present in the blood.

Malera dry suspension is interacted with other different medicines like Erythromycin, Quinidine, Chlorpromazine, Ciprofloxacin, Quetiapine, Terfenadine, Doxorubicin, Doxepin, Azithromycin, Citalopram, and Duloxetine. 

Malera dry suspension should be taken with food. A proper prescription is required for its usage.  Malera dry suspension may cause sleepiness. It should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight.

• Malera dry suspension is used to treat acute uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum strain of the parasite.
•  It is also used for the treatment of malaria that is resistant to other medicines such as chloroquine or sulphadoxine-pyrimethamine combinations.
