Dalacin capsule is manufactured by Pfizer Pakistan. The main ingredient of Dalacin capsule is Clindamycin. Clindamycin is an antibiotic with a primarily bacteriostatic action against a wide range of anaerobic bacteria. Clindamycin binds to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome similarly to macrolides and inhibits protein synthesis. The action of clindamycin is bacteriostatic although high concentrations may be slowly bactericidal against sensitive strains.
