Cardiosil tablets are manufactured by Himont Pharma (Pvt) LTD. The main ingredient in Cardiosil tablets is Amlodipine Besylate. Cardiosil Tablet is a helpful and effective medicine for hypertension. Amlodipine besylate works by inhibiting Calcium from entering the human muscles. This leads to the relaxation of blood vessels.

Cardiosil tablet has drug interactions with other different drugs such as Azole antifungal, erythromycin, cyclosporins, sildenafil, rifampicin, dantrolene, simvastatin, tacrolimus, other antihypertensives, grapefruit juice.

Amlodipine Besylate is indicated for the first line treatment of hypertension and can be used to control blood pressure in the majority of patients. It is indicated for the first line treatment of myocardial ischemia in other patients.
