Cefomerc contains the active ingredient Ceftriaxone. This injection is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), pelvic inflammatory disease (infection of the female reproductive organs that may cause infertility), meningitis (infection of the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord).

Cefomerc Injection 1 gm 1 Vial medicine works by interfering with the bacterial cell wall synthesis and thus inhibits the growth of bacteria.

This medicine is used in the treatment of infections in the urinary tract caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

This medicine is used in the treatment of Septicemia which is an infection of the blood caused by Staphylococci and Streptococcus pyogenes.

  • This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Cefomerc Injection 1 gm 1 Vial, any other Beta-lactam antibiotics, or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.
  • Usage does not depend on food timings
  • Store between 2-8 C. Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight.
  • The specific dosage will usually depend on the child's age and the particular formulation of the drops. 
  • Always read the label or consult with a doctor for precise dosing instructions
